Red Wing Tattoo - Zephyr

This month we have a special treat for you all. We are introducing you to not one, but five new and interesting individuals: Zephyr (they/them), Casey (he/him), Haily (she/they), Dalyla

(she/they) and Archer (any), the fabulous folks who work at Red Wing Tattoo. Because there is so much interesting information about these lovely folks, this episode will be a two-part series, beginning in this newsletter and wrapping up in the next one.

 As a business, Red Wing Tattoo has been in Winona since 2001, although the shop had been operating in Red Wing, MN since 1998 under Zephyr’s parents. The question of how long they have each been working, however, is a little more nuanced.

Zephyr, who identifies as pansexual, polyamorous and non-binary, has been tattooing for the last twenty years. Casey, who identifies as a problem, has been piercing since 2011 and Haily, who identifies as pansexual and polyamorous, has been doing nails in Winona since 2022, but has been an established business since 2019. Dalyla, who was not available for comment on personal identification, has been tattooing since 2021 and Archer, who was also not available, just started piercings in 2026.

Luckily for all the folks at Red Wing Tattoo, they get to work at a job that they love doing so they all find a lot of joy and importance in the work that they do and the ways that they can help the community. Outside of work itself, Zephyr and Haily are very passionate about reading and animals. Casey finds joy in a variety of ever changing hobbies, as he has ADHD. He is also passionate about doing things to make others smile and feel better in their day. Dalyla has always had an incredible passion for art in all its forms and finds ways to incorporate many forms of art into her daily life. Finally, Archer has recently found themselves engrossed in the world of body art modification.

Well, friends, that is just about all the space we have and we still have a few more questions for the folks at Red Wing Tattoo so we’re going to graciously ask them if they would be so kind as to come back so we can finish up in our next newsletter.
